Possible causes
- Contamination in valves, filters, ducts, or ventilation unit.
- Wear and tear on motor, bearings, or rotating parts.
- Problem with selector switch, control, or actuation.
- Reduced performance due to aging of the motor.
What can you check yourself?
First, check if valves and filters are clean and if the ventilation unit responds to different settings. Also pay attention to noise or vibrations. A motor that runs but moves little air may be dirty or show wear. Always disconnect the power before opening the unit.
