We are proud of our commitment to a sustainable society. Our goal is to deliver high-quality overhaul and repair services that fit within the customer's budget, combined with excellent service.
We understand that time and cost are of great importance, and we do everything we can not only to meet but to exceed our customers' expectations. That is why we offer reliable, valuable, and cost-saving service and repair solutions.
Sustainable repair, restoration, overhaul, and maintenance are at the core of our operations. We work in an environmentally friendly manner, without compromising quality, lead time, or price. Maintenance or repair does not take longer, cost more, and delivers the same high quality you can expect from us.
Recycling of ventilation motors, housings, and electronics
We recycle ventilation motors, HRV motors, plastic housings, and electronics (PCBs). This reduces waste.
Here are some steps and considerations regarding the recycling of these components:
- Disassembly: Before recycling is possible, ventilation motors and housings must be disassembled to separate different materials. This can be done manually or with special machines. After disassembly, usable materials are reused as much as possible.
- Material separation: After the components have been disassembled and sorted, the different materials (such as metals, plastics, and electronic components) must be separated.
- Recycling of metals: Metal parts in ventilation motors can often be recycled. Materials such as aluminum and steel can be melted down and reused for new products. This reduces the need for new mining and the energy required to extract metals from raw materials.
-
Recycling of plastics: Plastic parts can be recycled to make new plastic products. It is important to separate different types of plastics, as they often have different properties and require different recycling methods. We reuse usable plastics as much as possible.
- Electronic components: Ventilation motors can contain electronic components, such as motor controls and sensors. It is important to handle these electronics responsibly. For us, the reuse of functional electronic components has become a sport to combine and reuse them as much as possible. Otherwise, electronic components must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner to minimize the harmful effects of electronic waste (e-waste).
- Environmentally friendly disposal: If some materials cannot be recycled, they must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. This may involve safe disposal or processing at special waste treatment facilities.
All in all, the recycling of ventilation motors, housings, and electronics is an important step for us towards sustainability and waste reduction. We promote the circular economy, where materials are reused and recycled to reduce environmental impact.
We work together with Stichting Samen Duurzaam in Beweging. Stichting SDiB consists entirely of volunteers and has no paid staff. The foundation is committed to children's hospitals in the Netherlands. Through the SDiB website, you can see which projects the donations have been spent on.
Stichting SDiB is a business friend of the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital and the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht.
