These general terms and conditions have been drawn up in accordance with Dutch law, in particular Book 6 and Book 7 of the Civil Code, and apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded via the Ventilatie Service Center webshop.
By placing an order, the consumer declares to have read and agreed to these general terms and conditions.
Article 1 – Definitions
1. Entrepreneur: Ventilatie Service Center, located in Amersfoort, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 99354403.
2. Consumer: the natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business.
3. Business customer: any natural or legal person acting in the exercise of a profession or business.
4. Agreement: any distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
5. Products: all items offered via the webshop.
6. Webshop: www.ventilatieservicecenter.nl.
7. Reflection period: the statutory period within which the consumer can exercise the right of withdrawal.

Article 3 – Applicability
1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer and every agreement.
2. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.
3. General terms and conditions of customers are expressly rejected.
4. For business customers, additional or differing conditions may apply.
Article 4 – The offer
1. The offer contains as complete and accurate a description of the products as possible.
2. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind the entrepreneur.
3. Images and product specifications are indicative; minor deviations are permitted.
Article 5 – Formation of the agreement
1. The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer completes the order.
2. After placing the order, the consumer will receive an electronic confirmation.
3. The entrepreneur reserves the right to refuse orders or impose additional conditions.
Article 6 – Prices
1. All prices include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
2. Shipping costs will be clearly stated before the conclusion of the agreement.
3. Price changes do not affect already concluded agreements.
Article 7 – Payment
1. Payment must be made via the payment methods offered in the webshop.
2. If the consumer does not pay on time, the entrepreneur is entitled to suspend the execution of the agreement.
3. Any collection costs will be calculated in accordance with the statutory maximums.
Article 8 – Delivery and transfer of risk
1. Delivery takes place at the address provided by the consumer.
2. The entrepreneur will execute orders with due speed, at the latest within 30 days.
3. The risk of damage or loss of products transfers to the consumer at the moment of actual delivery.
Article 9 – Right of withdrawal
1. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.
2. The consumer must unambiguously inform the entrepreneur of the withdrawal.
3. The complete return procedure, including exceptions, is described on the 'Shipping & Returns' page of the webshop.
Article 10 – Obligations of the consumer during withdrawal
1. During the reflection period, the consumer must handle the product and its packaging with care.
2. The product must be returned within 14 days after withdrawal.
3. The consumer bears the costs of return shipping, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Article 11 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded for:
a. sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery, including ventilation filters;
b. products manufactured according to the consumer's specifications (customization);
c. products that can no longer be sold as new due to use.
Article 12 – Conformity and warranty
1. The entrepreneur guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and legal requirements.
2. Any warranty provided by the entrepreneur or manufacturer does not affect the consumer's statutory rights.
Article 13 – Liability
1. The entrepreneur's liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.
2. The entrepreneur is not liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, lost profits, or missed savings, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
Article 14 – Force majeure
1. Force majeure means any circumstance beyond the control of the entrepreneur, making performance reasonably impossible.
2. During force majeure, the entrepreneur has the right to suspend his obligations.
Article 15 – Complaints procedure
1. Complaints about the execution of the agreement can be submitted via info@ventilatieservicecenter.nl.
2. The entrepreneur will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.
Article 16 – Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights related to the webshop and the products offered belong to the entrepreneur.
Article 17 – Personal data
Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. Further information can be found in the privacy statement on the webshop.
Article 18 – Applicable law and competent court
All agreements are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
Article 19 – Final provisions
1. If one or more provisions prove to be void or voidable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
2. These general terms and conditions were last amended on the date mentioned above.
