Zehnder overhaul

Have your Zehnder motor overhauled

Is your Zehnder ventilation unit or HRV unit noisy, humming, or not running properly? Then a complete replacement is not always necessary. In many cases, motor overhaul can be a sustainable and economical solution.

When is overhaul interesting?

  • The motor is noisy, humming, or vibrating.
  • The motor runs heavily or does not start properly.
  • The extraction or air supply has decreased.
  • The bearings or rotating parts are worn.

For which Zehnder systems?

  • Mechanical ventilation units such as ComfoFan and ComfoFan Silent.
  • HRV units such as ComfoAir Q, E, Flex, and Standard.
  • Decentralized HRV units such as ComfoAir 70 and ComfoSpot 50.
  • Older Stork/Zehnder systems can often also be assessed.

What does an overhaul entail?

During an overhaul, the ventilation motor is inspected, and worn parts are replaced where necessary. This includes bearings, rotating parts, or parts that cause noise, vibrations, or heavy running. In this way, your existing Zehnder system can often function more quietly and reliably again.

Overhaul or replace?

Replacement is not always necessary. Many Zehnder systems can still be technically restored. When mainly the motor or bearings show wear, an overhaul is often a practical and sustainable choice.
