How do bearing problems occur?
- Normal wear and tear from years of use.
- Dirt or dust in rotating parts.
- Moisture or contamination.
- Imbalance of fan or motor.
- Prolonged motor load.
When do bearings need replacement?
A bearing that starts to wear often first makes a slight grinding or humming sound. As wear increases, humming, vibrations, and reduced performance become more apparent. Therefore, do not wait too long to prevent further damage to the motor.
