How do bearing problems arise?
- Normal wear and tear from years of use.
- Dirt or dust around rotating parts.
- Moisture or contamination in the ventilation unit.
- Imbalance of fan or motor.
- Prolonged motor load.
Overhaul or complete replacement?
For many Fläkt ventilation motors, worn bearings can be replaced during an overhaul. This often means the complete ventilation unit or HRV does not need to be replaced immediately.
