What do you notice?

  • Poor extraction in bathroom, kitchen, or toilet.
  • Moisture lingers longer after showering.
  • Cooking odors disappear less quickly.
  • The ventilation unit is running, but moves little air.

Possible causes

  • Contaminated valves or ventilation ducts.
  • Worn motor or bearings.
  • Problems with the control or operation.
  • Contaminated fan or impeller.

What can you check yourself?

Check if the valves are clean and if the ventilation unit responds when you select a different ventilation setting. For an HRV unit, also check the filters. If the extraction remains insufficient, the cause may lie in the ventilation motor or fan.
